A Gas Safe registered engineer services your boiler to the manufacturer's instructions. We check the emissions with a calibrated flue gas analyser and the gas pressures, clean the condensate trap and the magnetic filter if you have one, and test the safety devices. We also look over your radiators and hot water cylinder for leaks. Every three years, on every plan, we replace the boiler's electrode and burner gasket too.
Plans are for boilers under 15 years old, in homes. We inspect your boiler before cover starts. If it's older, we can still service and repair it, or talk to you about a new one.
Choose a plan and send us an enquiry. Nothing is paid online and cover doesn't start straight away. We call you, inspect your boiler, then confirm your plan, its start date and how you'll pay. Plans run for 12 months, then month to month.
Tap repairs, float valves, fill valves, outside taps and radiator valves. It's £15 a month and you can add it to any plan.
Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. We arrange your annual service for the month your plan renews, and breakdowns for plan holders get priority.
No. It's a maintenance contract, not an insurance policy. Some things aren't covered, such as breakdowns caused by sludge or scale, faults that were there before your plan started, and the boiler's main heat exchanger.
Care plan terms and conditions(opens in a new tab)Yes. You can cancel within 14 days of agreeing your plan for a full refund, although a breakdown we've attended in that time is charged. After the first 12 months the plan runs month to month; tell us at least 14 days before it renews.
